What area do you cover?
We are based in South Cheshire and will travel anywhere in the region i.e. with 50 miles of Chester. If you live outside of this please contact us anyway, we may still be able to help.

What should we wear?
Well it’s your shoot but in our experience plain tops are definitely the best, you don't have to all match, but it helps if you are all dressed in a similar way. Casual or formal, light tones or dark tones. Don’t forget we will be in your home so why not have a change of clothes ready and we will shoot you in both.

How much space do you need?
The simple answer is as much as you’ve got, we really can cope with small rooms but the ideal would be a large room with as much natural light as possible, such as a conservatory.

How long does it take?
About 2 hours from the moment we arrive, but having said that we are not governed by the clock and will stay until we have the best possible photographs “in the bag”.

Will you take pictures of the pets?
Absolutely it’s your shoot, you just bring them in and we will ensure they are captured.

What happens after you leave?
We will contact you approximately a week after the shoot, once your pictures have been processed and arrange a convenient time for us to deliver your complementary DVD and prints.

Do you air-brush the photographs?
Yes we will enhance your pictures to ensure you are shown in your best possible light, this may involve the removal of blemishes, softening lines etc. This service is included in the sitting fee.

Do you provide an option for black and white pictures?
Absolutely a selection of colour, black & white and sepia will be provided for you to choose from.

I have heard horror stories from people who go to some studios and after a hard sell, end up spending hundreds of pounds. Can you guarantee that we won’t be pressured into buying anything?
We are aware of some photographers who seduce people into using their services with a low sitting fee, only to pressurise them into parting with a fortune (they have to pay for their fancy studios and sales staff somehow). With us you are under no pressure to buy any additional prints whatsoever, although obviously we hope you will.

When do we pay you?
Your sitting fee will be payable in full (cash or cheque) at the time of the shoot and any additional prints at the time of order (cash, cheque or credit card)

How do we get to choose which photos to have additional prints of?
You will receive a “proof” DVD from which you can select your prints or if you choose you can order directly from the website.

Shall we have the kettle on?
Yes please.
